• Laurette is the developer of the Storytelling4Schools.com program for the Oklahoma Arts Council. She has been a Teaching Artist with the OAC since 1993. • Laurette is the author of several fitness-related
projects for Harvest House Publishers including The Busy Woman’s Guide to Total Fitness
(Harvest House Publishers). •
Laurette is Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Specialist with the
International Fitness Professionals Association. •
As a speaker, actor and workshop leader, Laurette has presented programs to
staff and students at hundreds of schools and universities from
coast-to-coast. • An
award-winning actor and playwright, she studied Theatre Arts at New York University, and is an
Artist on the Touring Rosters of the ,
Oklahoma
Arts Council,
and has worked extensively with Indian Education-funded programs (she was the
first artist in NACAIR – Native American Culture Artist-In-Residence program
in Oklahoma). She has also appeared in several Telly
